Throughout our organization, we recognize and respect our customers' right to privacy. We are committed to
protecting our customers' privacy rights in accordance with this Privacy Disclosure which outlines certain
measures we have implemented to maintain the privacy of our customers' nonpublic personal information. In
this Disclosure, we discuss our privacy policies for our consumer customers who have a continuing banking
relationship with us, as well as others who may have applied for a consumer loan but were declined and former
consumer customers who do not have an active account or loan with us.
The term "nonpublic personal information" means information about you that we collect in connection with
providing a financial product or service to you. Nonpublic personal information does not include information
that is available from public sources, such as telephone directories or governmental records. The term
"affiliate" means any company that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with another
company. The term "nonaffiliated third party" means any person or entity that is not our affiliate, nor a
person who is jointly employed by us and any company that is not our affiliate.
Categories of Information That We Collect
We collect publicly available information and nonpublic personal information about you from the following
Information we receive from you on applications or other forms.
Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others; and
Information we receive from consumer reporting agencies.
How We Keep Nonpublic Personal Information Private
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that
information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards
that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.
Restriction on Disclosure of Nonpublic Personal Information
We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about you to third parties other than as described
below, except as permitted or required by law. Further, we do not sell or rent customer lists or personal
information to any nonaffiliated third parties for marketing purposes.
Nonpublic Personal Information and Affiliates
We may disclose nonpublic personal information that we collect about you, as described above, to our affiliate
banks within First Financial Bankshares, Inc. in order to provide you with better service and information
about financial products that may interest you. For example, we may disclose transaction and account experience
information about you to our banking affiliates such as name, address, account balances, account activity,
types of accounts, payment history, deposit history, and parties to the transaction. However, we do not
disclose nonpublic personal information obtained from credit reports to our affiliates unless it is in
response to your request.
Nonpublic Personal Information and Nonaffiliated Third Parties
We are permitted under law to disclose all of the nonpublic information that we collect about you, as
described above, to nonaffiliated third parties in certain circumstances. For example, we may disclose
nonpublic personal information about you to nonaffiliated third parties in order to offer or support a
product or service that you have requested or that you already have with us. We may also disclose nonpublic
personal information about you to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial
institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements. We may also disclose nonpublic personal information
about you to nonaffiliated third parties to assist us in maintaining or servicing your loan or account with us.
In all of these cases when we share this information with nonaffiliated third parties, we have confidentiality
agreements with such parties that prohibit them from using customer information in any way other than as we
direct. We may also disclose nonpublic personal information about you as legally required, such as to
governmental entities and others in response to subpoenas. We may also disclose nonpublic personal
information about you to credit bureaus for credit reporting purposes.
