He focuses his sector analyses on information technology and communications.
Trent became a CFA Charterholder in 2018. He earned his Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation in October 2014 and became co-portfolio manager of the Strategic Growth Portfolio in 2016. In February 2022 he became Senior Vice President having joined First Financial Trust in January 2008.
Trent graduated summa cum laude in December 2007 from Hardin-Simmons University with a dual major in finance and economics.
