Credit Analyst
Location: Abilene, Texas or Kingwood, Texas
As a Credit Analyst, the first step in the First Financial Bank analyst program opens doors to a world of invaluable experience and professional growth. As a credit analyst, you'll dive into the intricacies of assessing creditworthiness and risk analysis, becoming a crucial asset in our lending decisions. However, this role offers more than just numerical analysis. It presents an exceptional opportunity to hone your networking skills by engaging in one-on-one interactions with top-level management. These interactions allow you to gain insights from seasoned professionals, fostering mentorship and guiding your development within the organization. Loan Review Analyst
Location: Abilene, Texas or Kingwood, Texas
The first step in the First Financial Bank analyst program often begins as a Loan Review Analyst, although many analysts also start as Credit Analysts. As a Loan Review Analyst, you will embark on a vital role within our organization, responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of loan portfolios. You'll dive deep into analyzing loan quality, risk management, and compliance with regulatory standards. This position also offers exciting opportunities for on-site visits and audits across various regions, allowing you to gain firsthand exposure to different markets and lending practices. Travelling across Texas, you'll develop a comprehensive understanding of the diverse landscape of our operations.
Junior Commercial Lender
Location: All Bank Regions
Once you have successfully completed your time in both Credit Analysis and Loan Review, and have spent time as a Senior Analyst you interview with regions across the State of Texas and start your career as a Junior Commercial Lender. As a Junior Commercial Lender you will be mentored in lending culture at First Financial Bank. You will help the region with underwriting along with growing your own portfolio.
Other pathways and Opportunities
Locations: Headquarters, Abilene, Texas
Once you have successfully completed your time in both Credit Analysis and Loan Review and have spent time as a Senior Analyst you might have the opportunity to move into a management role. This could include but not be limited to Loan Operations or Support, Lending Support, or Analyst Program Long Term Analyst.
